Who do you think the Lions are most likely to be interested in from the young Qlders available?
I would think that they would be interested in Pettard and Proud but for both 4 is too early and 21 too late. There might be a good chance Armitage might fall to them in the second and he would be a solid pick.
I can't see them having too much interest in the ruckmen in Renouf and Tippett although I suppose they could be tempted if they fell to the third round (the Lions might though have some additional 2nd round picks which could change things). Hampson and White should get picked by someone but probably not the Lions.
I think Brisbane might be a reasonable chance to take either Urquhart or Dzufer. You have to feel sorry for Dzufer he has done everything asked of him including a fantastic 3 k time last year and making all Australian this year but he is still overlooked. I see he is down to play in the midfield in the Allies match on Thursday. If he plays well there and given his good performances recently on the HBF (although not in the final apparently) he could improve his stock. Both of these guys would offer the Lions quite a lot and would be well worth taking in the third or fourth round.
Kiel and Smith are interesting prospects that Brisbane would love to fall to the rookie draft. If the Lions were interested in a late round key position they might also look closely at Grose who as a 17 year old will not be eligble for the rookie draft.
