I've got to say this got me laughing big time when I read this article yesterday. It's all to do with racial abuse, but the way it's written got us talking about it in the pub last night:

But Australia's Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission (HREOC) said the word 'Pom' would be safe if it was not accompanied by offensive comments.

Like that's not going to happen :D

That's pathetic them allowing this! I can't believe they didn't see and ban names such as "Poms (prisoners of her majesty), Aussies and Convicts!" They are all racist! Un-believable, where are some pollies to clear up this disgrace, no doubt caused by the federal Labor party!
