View Full Version : Where do you think we will come this year
In all honesty, without bias, where do you think we will come in 2002.
Honestly, I dont have high hopes, and I would be (happily) suprised if we got in the finals, but i think we would be very happy if we finished around tenth.
We have talent coming through, however, we can't expect to much from our side, as it is still very much a developing spine. With Glass and Gaspar coming through up back and MacDougall and Hunter or Gardiner (depending how we play our forward line) coming through up front, and despite their talent, they are still to young to take a team through to the finals.
I reckon we will finish 10th.

I went with 9 - 10th....more 10th 11th though...still im hopeful for a bit of luck and a top 8 spot.
11-12 i reckon
im hoping we can at least make a bid for a top 8 spot though

Teams can turn it around quickly. I can remember what happened in the early 90's when MM first arrived -the impact was immediate and took the competition by surprise.
I can also remember that just a couple of seasons ago we began well, and gave some of the better teams a thumping early in the season, but went off the rails later on in the year.
Last Saturday a number of players showed they have the skills and maybe its just been about learning to work together as a team when under pressure. I think we have the coach to do that now....I am going for 7th-8th.

I went with 9-10th as a realistic expectation, but I am really hoping we can squeeze into the top 8. Like Methuselah said, our youngsters have shown they are capable of playing at a high level, its just a matter of consistency and teamwork now.
WCE for top 4 in 2003!

Well i went with 11-12th, that is what i am expecting actually, so anything higher would be great!

I hope no WCE supporters voted wooden spoon, after all, we can not be worse TEAM than we were last year. Under KJ, we may have hit rock bottom, but not under Woosha, these blokes are playing for PRIDE.
I voted 9-10, personally I think they can do better and maybe sneak in eighth. Dreamer? Mayhaps....but I think we do have the talent, the skills and the DEDICATION to do a little more damage to the other top 8 sides.
I am so glad we are being written off and those who are thinking we are heading for bottom four again are about to have the smiles wiped from their faces. Remember 1990...yes, they wiped us off then and we finished 3rd....:D
If they bothered to look closely at the Eagles, mayhaps they may feel something good in the air.....I know I do.
Those dark clouds under Judge are gone and the sun is beginning to shine over subiaco oval (except for the DHs down the road)

I voted 9-10 but it could be higher if some players stay healthy, I think the key word would be IMPROVING...........

Still, I do think we have the talent on the park to slip into 8th

I thought I'd bump this up so we could all see what we said....I vote 5th or 6th and a home final first up.
Well we have certainly gone a little better than most expected, although we could still finish 10th...

at the moment we are where only 2 people thought we could finish, 6th, but i don't see us finishing there, 7-10th imo
