As Hughesy's is a Carlton supporter do you's like his latest tv ad for Nova100fm Melbourne saying that the plane won't be landing until Carlton wins the premiership?

Yes, I laughed when I heard it.
Very good ad, even if it is bagging the Blues.

Haven't seen it yet. Will keep a look out for it over the next few nights.
its funny , but i was in the city and a lady yelled go swans and i said nah go blues shes said pfft you guys are still up in the air , so i guess everyones starting to get into it .. i only wish she said this today so i could say 1 point :D :D :D

I don't find it funny its offensive to the Carlton Football Club. We're the butt of jokes at the moment. Ask Stephen Kernaham if he finds it FUNNY? and the club are not happy about it either.
This is PROUD club and people forget we have won 16 premierships. When this great club is back on top a lot people and the media are going to have egg on the faces.

We still love the club, even though we do realise we are crap and going through a real rough patch ATM.
We will be back, but for the meantime we are a rabble. Of course we are proud, but that doesn't erase the truth of the present.

Dude relax. I mean come on!! are you serious. I myself had a good laugh, and even told the blokes at work who support other clubs and had a laugh with them. It's got nothing to do with how many flags we have won. If you don't lighten up mate you won't be around to see our next one.

Guess some supporters like myself sat their on Saturday absolutely disgusted that our team wasn't playing as it should be, and looking at how to get this mighty club back to where it belongs while others are finding commercials ridiculing CFC funny. What can I say.:mad:
I liked it. Of course no Carlton supporter likes being down the bottom of the ladder but when you finish last you gotta expect some bagging and the ad is pretty funny.
