a mate was tellin me on the weekend josh riddle didnt get draft camp or screening invite - is this true?
i thought he would of been a good chance in the draft.

I believe that's true.
Maybe still a late pick chance, or rookie listing.
He is 186cm fullback who is a terrible kick. Needs to go to the VFL and prove himself as midfielder.

I guess it doesn't necessarily close the door for him. If he manages a pre-season training invite with someone he may impress enough to get a rookie spot.
If not, then I hope blokes like him (and others who may miss out for that matter) go away and work on the areas which might have held them back and continue to persist next year or the year after through the VFL to get where they want to with their footy.
Probably a fair point weaver makes, but at the same time when he got the chance to move away from full back I thought he grabbed it with both hands.
