Has improved every year and had a good year for South Fremantle. 3rd in the Sandover medal. Would be about 21 by now? Tall wingman that seems in vogue in the AFL, i'm guessing about 188-190cm. Could thrive in an AFL environment. Worth a punt. Any chance to be taken?

Last year I hoped Freo would pick him up as a rookie. This year I really hope Freo pick him up as a rookie.

My mail is that he is seriously being looked at due to his strong gut running. Like you I have been surprised that he hasn't been taken considering his form in finals and state footy.

Worth a mid/late draft pick IMO.

Only reason he hasn't been picked up yet is because he is weak on his right side.

Would love for Freo to pick him up with a late pick. Just has a way of finding the ball and more often than not doing something with it.

I think his disposal is probably what he needs to work on. He just needs to be a little cleaner and a little smarter.

He is 23 in May 07, approximately 80kg and 180cm, very left sided, finds space easily (not hard in the WAFL) pays little or no repect to opponents and very unaccountable. He has been looked at in depth over the last 4 or so years and is still playing WAFL and will be in 07.

OK maybe I take it back then... :o

Definite no for me.

Unaccountable, too one sided. Has no right foot. Decision making poor under pressure. Too outside for his lack of speed. Below average acceleration. Doesn't really hurt opposition as much as he should

Yeah he is a bit slow, Priddis cut him up in the WAFL grand final.

That says alot. Especially for an outside, unaccountable player like he is.

If he was 18 I'd consider him, but he's 23.

I would take Josh Head from SF, was on the dockers rookie list a few yrs ago, is about 21 y. o.. Tall blonde who runs like the wind and has a huge kick, much in the vain orf Duffield but could be better.

another bloke who looks interesting to me is trinity handley from claremont. has really improved this year, and has a lot of versitility. a couple of teams could do a lot worse than chuck him on the rookie list and see what happens.

Yeah, he's very keen to make it to AFL too Diablo. I've been impressed with him for 2 years. Could blossom under AFL guidance.

Danny Chartes from Peel has had a consistent season.

Can play KP forward and back
Co-Captain of the Colts Premiership team in 2004.
Played 20 League games this year, turning 21 next season.
194cm

Chris Waterman on Chartes
“There is a chance Danny won’t be here next year. There are a few AFL clubs looking at him,”
“That will leave a big hold in our team. As the season progressed, I though Danny would be our centre half-forward for next year. But that might not be the case. He might be on an AFL list, even as a rookie, gauging by the interest there has been in him.”

Yeah I mentioned his name a while back. Very impressive this year. Fairly mobile for his height and seems to read the play very well.

Yeah, very mobile, quite one sided on his left, although can use his right if in trouble. Would love to see him drafted/rookie list, the latter probably more realistic

Have you heard who is interested 4th Tier?

I'd consider him for a rookie-listing at WCE for sure.

All I have heard is Eastern States clubs are looking at him and some have spoken to Waterman about him.

Obviously plenty of the clubs have been to the Peel Thunder matches, looking more so at Gumbleton, Greg Miller was down at Rushton late in the season and expressed his interest to Muddy, but apart from that... you could say many clubs have seen him play and could be interested.
