I thought it started this week, but I haven't heard any news. Last year I seem to recall daily updates on who had done what on the CFC website.
Anyone know anything about this?

I am pretty sure it starts today. Perhaps wait until tomorrow and look at the AFL website. I am sure it will have an update.

Don't worry....just read the HS article on Dawes....it starts Wednesday.
HBF....is he likely to still go high?
Sounds like he could be a good risk to take with PSD or Rookie?
I wouldn't be as concerned with the reco for a KPP. Any thoughts?

I always thought he was in the 2nd - 3rd tier of talls which would put him somewhere between 30-50 IMO, might drop a little bit now. Though he did push Alllen out of the CHF spot so he must be highly regarded.

Id risk it... he is going to be a KPP so in theory the knee isnt a bad thing... stick him in the gym and give him the same program that kouta use when he had his knee operated on. Look at the before and afters of kouta and because he was immobile below the wasit he worked everything above it... worth a punt, question is if we take him say with pick 60odd in the draft, can we immediately slot him on the long term injury list and elevate a rookie? If so we could potentially take an extra rookie and the knowledge that we can elevate one immediately should they show promise!
The guy is already a monster, he lacks mobility not strength, so the knee doesn't help his chances. Still good enough to get get picked up though, 4th round onwards I'd guess.

the mock draft has us picking up both the Brown bothers as well as Gibbs.
Is this a realistic possibility ? I think not .. we don't want to be too top heavy and need to address our midfield.
Just as a bit of additional info:
Nathan Brown: 194 cm, 89 kg, right footer
Mitch Brown: 193 cm, 92 kg, left footer

Tipped to go 20 to 30 in draft, Nathan to go earlier. Could justify picking up Nathan at 19 if we loose Thornton.
Nathan had a good year and last game in the TAC and was AAustralian

Spot on Gilly.
You know your stuff.

Id love to see us get Nathan, no matter if thornton stays OR go's.
Its hard to find a FULL BACK these days and he is certainly a guy who could play this position.
We should seriously be looking at taking him at 19, unless he go's earlier.
Im not a fan of Mitch. He is a good player but i dont think we need anymore tall forwards. We have Fev, Kennedy, Waite, Fisher and Lance. No need for another.

The insiders draft seems pretty far off from what most of us think the draft will be like. Like we would overlook Collard as a second round pick so that we could pick us Nathan and Mitch Brown?
