Sick of crap threads with very little truth behind them...have it on good sources - Nick Smith will be delisted from Melbournes list.

He played in their last final of the year, and has been playing great footy in the VFL (better than our players!!) Worth a crappy pick, so he can ruck for us 07/08 and then we asses it further.

Obviously draft another young ruckmen to develop in this time!!

Much rather take the punt on another kid than Smith, injuries have not helped, but he is just not up to it IMO.

Fair call, i havnt seen much of him to be honst - just no he is a bit of a colt hero on the dees board and got a game for the Dees along side White.

And Deluca and Bryan will never ever make it as ruckmen, Mclaren is too small to be the number one ruckmen week in week out.

There are far better options than him IMO.

Mctinosh or if not him, than possibly Moran. We'll have to give up more, but Mctinosh has shown he is more than capable, and Moran has ability to be very good.
