Can anyone shed any light on what happenned last night at the B&F, it is on the radio and have heard from a few different sources that players/officials were involved. Anyone go from this board who can either confirm or deny this?

Anyone say who was involved, or is this another vague rumour?

Everyone was involved. Hence it being an all in brawl.

Lucky that another Collingwood bloke got drunk and was locked up so that the press didn't catch onto our 980 strong all in brawl. Let's just keep it in house.

On BayFm they are saying it happened at the after party at Eve Nightclub.. See if they had been at Eureka they could have just made losers of themselves like normal and everyone would have been used to it..

I think Tarrant and Didak started it

The Geelong Footy Club had their own private room at the Eve Nightclub and most players were there at the time.

The GFC were contacted by media, and knew nothing of the incident.

There was an incident that occured, Police have stated. That is all they are willing to comment on.

No charges have been laid.

Not a shred of evidence that anything occurred. The thread should be wiped.:thumbsd:

ottens drove them back to melbourne.

Ben Cousins drove the 1st part of the leg but then thought it would be better to run the rest.

Graham Johncock and Byron Pickett just pointed at each other and said "He was driving".......then they all pointed at Ronnie Burns

I was there last night with the geelong boys in the VIP room with them all.... I didnt leave until 4 and i saw nothing happen at all....

However, many many many beverages were consumed but the majority stayed in the VIP room or on the dance floor, so I find it hard to see anything happen.

If you didn't leave until 4am no wonder you found it hard to see anything. I'm usually the same after a night like that!!

It was reported on SEN and BayFM and I have also been approached by various people throughout the day who have also heard the same rumour.

Based on the above, the usual b&f (or Mad Monday) stuff, too many drinks, some a bit upset. Doesn't sound like an all in brawl.

No, I know it's not your words, just starting to sound an exaggeration. Who knows?

It was probably just some drunk Collingwood fan having a go at Cats players. Thats my guess.

Anyway, this is the sort of stuff that us supporters should keep a lid on. These stupid rumours can really hurt our club. If it did happen it has obviously been blown out of proportion and the media could catch on it and hurt the club. :thumbsd:

There was a little snippet in the herald sun, saying that a player wasn't allowed to drink in the VIP area (or something along those lines) and the un-named player got into a fight with the security.

So, wow.. our great night that was the B&F ends in an all in brawl huh?? :D

Just thought I would include a list in hounour of this occassion as to what has gone wrong at our club this year..

- won the pre-season cup, then proceed to do a big dive-bomb out of the finals when it counts
- Mooney continues his brain freezes, ending up with silly suspensions and thus preventing him to be captain
- Fitness coach debacle
- Thompson rumour mid year
- Scarlett comes out and holds the club to ransom, declaring if Creswell comes to the club, he goes
- Thompson rumour late season
- Review... the longest review in AFL history i believe
- David Parkin announces Thompson should be sacked.. he stays though
- Ottens picked up for drink driving and then proceeds to win a car for 12 months.. too bad he wont have a license to drive it
- Reports of an all in brawl or maybe its just a disgruntled player not allowed into the VIP section.

Someone buy the movie rights to this now. Would be an award winning comedy :)

Thank you for your contribution to my list C2R.. but i thought my "fitness coach debacle" and "david parkin... " kind of umbrelled those.

But i will make the adjustments anyway :thumbsu:

You are all a bunch of morons. Don't make stuff up that you know nothing about. This is how this **** gets started. SEN retracted what they said and police have said that no Geelong players were involved in a SEPARATE incident.
