Everyone's heard of the influence that the Beatles' White Album had over Manson, but what is lesser known is that the Beach Boys were actually associated with him.

Dennis Wilson picked up 2 hitch-hikers one day who took him to their ranch and he met Manson. Manson and his Family then lived with Dennis for a while, and Terry Melcher recorded some of Manson and his Family singing. Anyways this is all BEFORE the La Bianca/Tate murders before anyone says anything.

Anyways there is actually a Charles Manson song that appears on the Beach Boys' 20/20 album, a little ditty by the name of 'Cease To Exist', rewritten very slightly by Dennis Wilson to become 'never learn not to love'.

Cease to resist, come and say you love me
Give up your world, c'mon and be with me

Hmmmmm. Anyways, songwriting credit is D. Wilson. This did rather piss Manson off, sent Denny a silver bullet. Denny left his house, and yeah never spoke of it again.

But yeah it's a very little known story that, but very interesting indeed.
