The off-season is killing me already ... and we've only just started! :eek:
Well, there are a couple of great Hawk YouTube videos including one by BigFooty's own Mollyfud (I believe?).

Essendon vs Hawthorn fight, Round 10 2004.
Adam McPhee is the BIGGEST girl. ;) :D
Note: Nathan Lonie also has to get kudos for becoming the softest person to ever don a Hawk jumper. He didn't even throw one punch and flinched whenever someone came near him!
Watching that video also brings back memories of what Osbourne is like when he's angry. Should be excellent to see his aggression back in the team next year. :D :thumbsu:

Thanks for pointing out the video but I can't take credit it for this one. I have put some in the past from the Hawks family days though although they got broke in my change of blog platform. Will try to get them back up soon.

That's another awesome one, mate. I love the music to go with these ones.
Crawf definitely is THE BEST. I dont care what other fans say about players like Judd/Cousins/Voss etc, Crawf will always be the best of any player i've seen in the flesh.

Totally agree PH. He's a living legend and still has plenty to offer and is hungry for success. Would be a great way to send the likes of Crawford, Dixon, Vandenberg and Smith off with a premiership.

Agreed, mate.
I remember feeling so proud of the way we sent off Barks this year. In all seriousness, when was the last time we sent off a 'champion' (in our eyes), that way?
Holland was given the boot after a very unfortunate run of injuries.
Angelo's departure from the club was marred by legal proceedings.
Spida's departure ... best left untouched.
I can only imagine what I, and presumably all other Hawk fans will feel like when Crawf particularly lines up for the last time in our colours. I'd also love to send off players like Vanders, Smith and Dixon in the same vein, but there's just that extra something inside me that desperately wants Crawf to go out on a high.
Crawf is now 32, and will be 33 towards the end of next year. If we can just keep him playing till he's 35, we could in all honesty give him a decent crack at winning a premiership. Imagine how perfect a sendoff that would be for someone like Crawf ...
The Chief's farewell was probably the last time we had a Barker type farewell and that was nearly 10 years ago!
I agree with everything said in this thread, Crawford is easily the greatest HFC player never to win a premiership; I just hope that changes for him before his career finishes. If there is anyone that deserves a premiership, its Crawford.

ha, I love in that clip how McPhee reaches the safety of the trainers, then plays the tough guy with the patented hardass 'hold me back' move.
The one clip I used to love but can't find it anymore is the 'attempted' take-out of Campbell Brown by Mark Coughlan. Pretty sure it was a youtube one, but it's nowhere to be found.
Nightwolf used to know where it was if I recall, maybe he can help us out?

seeing what mcflea tried to do to hodgey made me mad it made me mad that they bar 1 got fines only and we copped the suspensions :mad: :thumbsd: but by gee it was exciting to watch

Pardon me, but I'm of the opinion that YouTube videos should actually contain some video and not just be a slideshow with music.
Any 3 year old with powerpoint can do that.
Now how about someone take some initiative and make a good highlight reel!

If anyone, hodge2franklin hint hint because he seems to have footage and editing software, can put up some of buddy franklins finest work over his career into one clip(although with buddys highlights so far maybe more than that) that would be much appreciated.
