To put it in perspective he did the 40y dash (36.5m) in 4.33s

A good 20 m dash in the draft camp is around 3s. I think Pearce did it in around 2.6s (?).

That means Pearce, arguably the quickest over a short distance we have seen, gets over 7.6m/s. Bush gets over 8.4m/s.

Add that to the fact Bush weighs 100kg and has a vertical leap of 103cm (the best at the recent draft camp was 69cm, although I am unsure if Reggies was a running start).

Oh yeah, he can also bench press 100kg 24 times in a row.

I think their speeds are more than comparable, its 16.5m difference and I made it so it was speed per metre per second. If you imagine that Pearce would do those last 15m at a slightly faster pace, it would make their speed/m/s very similar, except;

Correct me if I'm wrong but you don't seem to have factored in that a bigger percentage of Danyle's dash is taken up with accelerating to top speed. That's where the problem lies with your comparison IMO.

Again not taking anything away from these NFL players. You would expect Gridiron to have many great athletes given the population base they have to choose from.
