Seems Pies will buckle and take #13 tomorrow arvo, with maybe someone of the chad morrison variety (medhurst) chucked in. Hang in there Miller and hold onto #8.... second round swaps with Freo for Polak!!

If #13 was the best we could do, I'd hope they'd keep Tarrant. He's worth more to us than a late first-round pick IMO.

Seriously, do you think he's going to get better? Don't blame me if we're having a discussion in 2 years time and Tarrant has the currency Solomon does now... And as I've said elsewhere, it's not as if you're close to a flag or anything so let him go for what you can jag from a club that is.

we better not give away pick 16 if the draft is so good. someone drafted will go alot further than tarrant, and maybe alot better. we still need to invest in youth, so the eagles can stay a powerful side

we got so much youth anyway. but i think we could still pick up 3-4 players with our real late picks.

Blame you? Dude, this is an internet forum.
It's really simple: it ain't a firesale. We're not compelled to accept the BEST offer, only a FAIR offer. If we don't think it's fair, don't trade. Simple. We can't lose him for nothing in the PSD.
Despite all the hoopla about this draft, #13 ain't anything like a lock to be a good player. Look at the history of other superdrafts if you don't believe me. So, all in all, I think we'd be better off keeping him.
The Tarrant-Solomon comparison is dumb. Tarrant's always been the better player and, unlike Solomon, hasn't ****ed his knee.

We didn't target Tarrant, he targeted us. That of course doesn't mean we weren't interested and prepared to explore the options.
16 and 29 > 13
We won't be trading Tarrant for just Pick 13.

yeah like 16 and rosa is cheap. plus you wont get selwood anyway he will go earlier and rosa > most of your midfielders so we arent trading him.

You may well be right....
But given the value that you place on your players you will still be below us...

Relations are at least a little strained between club and player and it's a reasonable offer.Your homey Wisbey has spoken of the quality of this draft,of which I agree.It's a top 10 pick quality pick in any other draft.
Interesting day ahead.
