Hansie Cronje has certainly done well in his first game as South African coach. :D

Listened to it on the radio, it was a comphrensive win by the best cricket team in the world.
What happens to the standings on the ICC championship standings now? I still have no idea on that silly system

The only positives for South Africa were young Prince on debut, and Ntini. Prince looked a competent player, and from the look of him in his first Test, he'll be around for awhile. And Ntini bowled his heart out, was very unlucky at times.
Most of the rest, apart from maybe Kallis and Gibbs, looked shell-shocked. Their bowling depth is going to be severely tested the next 2 games if Pollock is still out and I wouldn't think Donald will take any further part in the series.

RSA can still depose us by drawing the series (which is still possible).
All in all as dominating a performance as you'll ever see. Great to see four players who have copped a bit of flack this summer perform well.
Go you good thing.

go to the site and read the rules. as stated, SAf just need to draw the series to be crowned world test champions. as long as we win the series, we should remain on top for quite awhile. the only reason SAf is so close to us is because they have played more series, including home and away against Zimbabwe. It is in Australia's best interests to quickly schedule a series against Bangladesh, either home or away, just to get the series points and keep SAf at bay.
The earliest I would imagine we could lose top spot is later this year. We will beat SAf, then Zimbabwe, and SAf will beat Bangladesh. Later this year we play Pakistan away. If we don't win that series (as we did last time), then our top position could be in danger.

Warney looks to be back in some sort of form to.Good to see we didnt relax on the second innings and give any of there players a chance to feel confident about the next test.Kirsten looks in terrible form and we got Kallis cheap both times.
