Although not Lions based Jack Dyer was infamous for his qoutes, known as "Dyerisms". There was the one about the player leaping high and taking a mark like an octopus with giant testicles but my favorite was when he was calling a game and when asked to comment he said "I'm not going to say anything just in case I say something". I have used this at work lately and it has proved quite successful.

I think may have been another Dyerism.
