Tomorrow I leave to start me work at the Indy. I'm both looking forward and regretting the decision to sign up. On one hand I get work experience, on the other hand its a 5:30 AM wake up for a 6:30 train EVERY MORNING! And I start work at 10, and that just won't do....

So, is anyone going?

I wish I could go Chaz

I will be glued to the Telly like every other year

A Brisco/Power 1-2 would be sooooooooooo good :D

One hellava day

Woke up 5:30 am and walked to Brunswick St station, arrived shortly after 8:30. I work just outside the Indy cars pit lane. Right outside Team McDonalds.

No one was really drinking in the morning, giving me a chance to watch some of the V8's practice.

Afternoon was quite full on. Every piss head arrived, keeping me and my team quite busy. Bloody exhausting consistantly walking up steep angled stairs MANY MANY TIMES per delievery.

Finally clocked off at 5:45. Took around 20 minutes getting to the gate and find the 'shuttle' buses. There were NO direct shuttle buses. I had to bloody go to Southport, transfer onto a direct train bus and THEN start my trip home.

Ahhhh, yes, and then we come to the walk home through the Valley/New Farm. Brunswick St mall and its outside area freaks me out. Going along Brunswick St, I tried to keep myself by being approached by the hookers near Avalon and accross the road from the Brunny.

There was a bit of an accident at the Brunny. A senior gentlement falling down a small flight of stairs, and was not in good shape. Staff controlled the situation, while I lent one of them my phone to call an ambo. Hopefully he'll make a speedy recovery.

And now I'm home...... One day down, two to go :(

New Farm mate, not my cuppa tea. Too trendy for me liking.... especially the girly men :D

And those bloody party boats that go up and down the river make too much freaking noise!
