So - who did Adelaide trade their second round pick to? Did we get a good player in return? ;)

Explain why? Otherwise stop clogging up the forum. Read Weaver's condition of posting phantom drafts.

Pick 69. North Melbourne - Daniel O'keefe
He will go much higher than 69 i heard rumours of him going in the second round. He won the Geelong Falcons best and fairest and made the team of the year.
Simon Hogan - should go 5th round after winning the beep test the sprints.

27 Oct 2006, 12:41
Travis Boak, Danny O'Keefe and Simon Hogan should all get drafted from the Geelong Falcons. Ryan Williams, Jackson Sheringham could get rookied but its hard to see Tim Brown getting drafted

Nice work, happy with Carltons selections there.
But is Collard better Djerrkurra?
I haven't seen him play, but I'd jump if this guy was still available at pick 17 after reading some profiles and I would consider Renouf at 19 if this is the way the draft pans out.

I would pick Collard at #8 let alone #18.

Will Schofield should get drafted also.

great effort, first few rounds look pretty good, anything could happen past that, so well done for going the whole five rounds. don't think richmond would pick james frawley though second round, but apart from that you have done well i think.
Don't think Chris Dawes (Dragons, Vic Metro CHF) will get drafted? anyone..

You would think that Jesse White would be in top 50-60, with Brisbane likely to pick him up with pick 54 as he is a QLD boy...

27 Oct 2006, 19:32
Travis Boak will go earlier than predicted on BF. I'm almost certain of this.
I too have Riewoldt sliding to 16, although i rate him higher than that rank wise.

35. Carlton Leigh Adams
51. Carlton - James Thomson
52. Fremantle - Dean Kelly
70. Brisbane - David Gourdis
Very interesting.
I think Adams is definitely a chance for Carlton. He could flop but could also turn out to be an absolute steal. Maybe a later pick though.
Thomson I also agree with. Athletic, although somewhat raw. Definitely something to work with.
Kelly has been linked with Freo plenty of times, although I'm not sure if this is because of the Heath Black factor.
Gourdis could also be a good late pick up. Needs time and work but could prove to be a steal also.

Jesus ease up, his taken the effort to do 5 rounds which is enough work as it is. His not like one of the thousands of members having a stab at the 1st round and thats it......

Very confident theat Kelly won't end up at Freo. Which is a shame as that's where he really wants to play.

Macca, i was unsure of Riewoldt and WCE until I discussed it with someone whose opinion I rate highly. I now definitely think we'd jump at the chance to take him.
I'd be pumped with Jack, Collier/Allan (wishfull thinking on Allan), Prismall/Moss, Stewart/Garland.

Do you think we'd take Riewoldt ahead of guys like Jetta, Collard, O'Brien and Morton who are all local and possibilities to be available at our pick?

Yep I do.
Morton may be around 2nd round anyway. O'Brien is tempting, but Riewoldt would out-do that temptation

Interesting. I had both Jetta and Riewoldt sliding to #16, but had us taking Jetta. Really not sure where Jetta will end up.
:thumbsu: Great job overall. And Blues get Gibbs, the quick Djerkoff and young ruck renouf.:thumbsu:
I would take him at 26.
