dunno what everyone is getting so worried about, they'll all be back, including McPhee.

Players go on holidays and let teir managers neotiate with the club, they'll put pen to paper when they're ready

Johns will be in the red and black next year trying to take the next step.

Have very high hopes for this player.Could be the surprise packet of the comp by rd6 if every things goes right.Super aggressive, and lets hope he channels that aggression straight at the ball and gives every CHB nightmares trying to contain him.

It was reported about 5 weeks ago that he was close to signing they just had some of the minor points to sort through.

Now that McPhee has signed, a firm offer will be made to Johns, who will STAY.

He MUSTget a really good pre season under the belt. Needs more endurance.

I think they way his career has gone of late, he would just want a full pre-season, but i do agree, a big pre-season would be brilliant for him

After what Essendon and Sheedy have done for Johns, I'd be very surprised if he left. I would imagine he feels he owes the club, and he'd be right.

I would put my house on Courtenay Johns wanting a long and successful career... at Essendon
