what are some of the best sledges out on the field that you have heard?
2 that come to mind to me are 1: Where did you learn to bat, Edgbaston and 2: I have seen better batters in a fish'n'chip shop.
Any others to add?

2.Steven Waugh to Gibbs-You just dropped the world cup.
3.Warney laughing at Paul Adams after his attempt at a sweep shot.
4."Bowl a throat ball at the ****!"
5.The best would have to be pumping up your bowlers tyres in fron of the batsman.Things like "same as last week mate another 10 for" qualify in this area.
Batsmen to bowler:- "That ball was as wide as my wife's arse!"
Warwick Todd to unnamed Indian player - "You have no bum."

Read this one in some book and cracked up laughing for ages. An old English one from the 1960s.
In a county game, Freddie Trueman was bowling to Rev David Sheppard, who kept knicking the ball through slips, having LBW shouts turned down and having a lucky day.
Trueman eventually said to Sheppard "If you have as much luck on Sundays as you do on Saturdays, you'll end up Archbishop of Canterbury.":)
