Horror movie - Saw III

Anyone else here a big horror movie buff?

It's strange how some people dont mind them and some cant stand them! I went and saw the first two movies, with the first one completely creeping me out, but I found the ending of the second one to be pretty nifty.

Supposedly the third movies in the franchise was released in America on Halloween and is doing well in its first week. It releases in Australia on Thursday and I might get around to watching it sometime next week.

Any else a fan of Horror movies and is planning to see Saw III?

I loved the first one, didnt really like the second one, it seemed to me that hollywood ruined a great indie movie
will still see the third one, fairly good concept of a horror movie, i liked the first one soo much more then the second one

I saw (hehe) it today, and it was better then the second one, but the ending kinda ruined it for me

Dont give anything away Im seeing it on sat with my girlfriend.

The first one was great, the 2nd was a bit of a disapointment but if delerious is right and its better then the 2nd ill be happy.

Ive seen the first one and it wasnt bad, bit sick at the end though when hes gotta cut his foot off to escape :eek: .
Havent seen the second but someone told me it was really gory.

If you guys what a pointless movie that is meant to be scary, I recommend you watch Hostel. I imagine it's kind of like what Saw is about.

I hated hostel, it was just pointless violence with a crap plot.

The first 20 mins were awesome though :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

i think the horror genre is just going to get flooded with torture genre movies since how well saw did, and hostel, like how you had 10000 teenage slash em movies

Yeh just beware - not suitable for a first date because the first half is porn and the second half is horror, can be awkward.

I enjoyed Saw I and II, my brother went last night to Saw III and said it wasn't as great as the first two but I'll go see it this week.

Has anyone seen "The Hills Have Eyes"?

I enjoyed the first two, love the plot twists, but the original was better yes. Will go and see the 3rd one this weekend I would think!

Agree with that. Had heard reasonable reports about Hostel and was pretty disappointed with it.

Definately going to see Saw III. Thought II was nowhere near as good as the original, but not terrible. My mate saw III the other day and said it was OK. Not particularly good but OK. Said it was the goriest (sp?) movie he'd ever seen.
Got to get around to seeing The Grudge 2 before it finishes too.
