View Full Version : Gilbee Injured
Not sure the extent of the injury - but I'm slightly glad in that a little leg injury / strain is better than something else that could have happened if he did take the field.
Hopefully he's alright to resume training with the team.

damn thats not a good start for his PS.
and is it just me or does gilbs seem to be getting a lot of soft tissue injuries?

I dont think that injury was muscular, more to do with a knock..

After some of his comments during the week maybe its a good thing he was ruled out. It was pretty willing in that first quarter!
Worth getting up at 6:30am to watch though.

If it was a knock in the calf, it was muscular then. Hence, why it is called a calf muscle, not calf bone.

Ok smart a**e, what I meant was that it was more like a corked or bruised calf rather than a muscle strain.

I'm not being a smartarse, I'm just letting you know whether it be a corked calf, or a calf tear, they are both muscualr, soft tissue injuries.

Yeah, except they don't take into consideration those who have to get up earlier to go to work. Pathetic display.

Timing doesn't make much sense, unless the majority of people can leave home and be at work within 30 mins?
Doesn't take into account those who start at 8:30.
However, an invention call the VCR should render the whole arguement useless.

WESTERN Bulldog Lindsay Gilbee had not suffered a soft-tissue injury for five years, but succumbed to a twinge in his right quadricep muscle five minutes before the second International Rules Test.
Nope!
