Just more drama in the passing Pakistan pantomime.

He struck him? That makes Woolmer sounds like Shoaibs wife or something.

Jeese, it just never ends for Pakistan

What a ridiculous beat-up.

Trust Romeo and Browney to instantly regard it as truth.

Truth? Did I say I believed it? Why do you think I used the word pantomime. The point is this sort of story wouldn't be ascribed to the other teams while Pakistan is a soap opera there for our entertainment.

Of course this sort of story would be ascribed to other teams. Everything you say seems to be limited in time by the last Ashes series...the evidence is building up.

'Damien Martyn - Love Rat'? Slater's disciplinary issues? Symonds on the piss?

You really seem completely absent of Australian cricket history pre-Ashes 2005. It's amazing.

Oh really!! There you go again, your best form of defence is to have a go at your posting counterpart on the basis of his lack of knowledge etc. How dare you suggest I haven't been in touch with the Ashes pre-2005?

In any case the Symonds drinking issue was a blight on the Aussie team at the time but Slater is going back a few years now (and wasn't broadly made public until later), the Martyn love rat was an occasional scandal.

Pakistan on the other hand have almost daily sagas in the context of a history of scandals and sagas. They are the pantomime which keeps giving. To compare Australia and Pakistan in this sense is ridiculous.

Because when it comes to you, that's the kind of limited knowledge you keep espousing.

Ask me about 74-75 or the series from the early 80's I can tell you about them in depth. But you don't listen to anyone anyway, you're stereotyped in your views of posters and inflexible in your thinking. I did love the Ashes 2005 though it was refreshing to have a challenge for a change.
