It demonstrates how you can add photos/images to your thread-starts/posts and display links to other Webpages-sites.

There was a time when images could be posted with signatures, but in their wisdom the powers-that-be at BF disposed of allow such, giving 'saving bandwidth space' as the reason why.

1. Post Pictures

It is advised that when posting pictures you first upload those pictures to a host site. Some examples of this are www.imageshack.us www.photobucket.com or www.pix8.net

To upload a picture to these sites you need to either have the url of the picture or upload the picture from your PC. Once the picture is uploaded find the code and highlight and copy it (right click and select copy).

Come back to BigFooty and if you are using photobucket simply paste the url in the reply box (right click in the reply box and press paste). If you are using imageshack click on the image icon http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/images/editor/insertimage.gif and paste the url in there.

2. Hyperlinking

To link to another website simply type in the website's URL. To link to an article on another website highlight the URL in the address bar, copy it and then paste it in BigFooty. If you'd like it to show a word (or words) instead of the URL first type in the word you'd like and then highlight the word. Now click on the hyperlink icon http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/images/editor/createlink.gif and paste the URL in there and click OK.
