That's not even funny, the thought of no boxing day test is just scary
Also it kinda defeats the point of Hodge being selected to play, lol

The only time it rains more than 2 connesecutive days in Brisbane is during the Gabba test match.

I reckon we'll get smashed, ;eading up to the 2005 Ashes series we were flying - if I remember correctly we didn't lose a test over a 12-18 month period, this time around we not only have injury and internal concerns to contend with but we aren't in the best form either.

The flaw in your reasoning is that in the last Ashes campaign we expected to win. This time we want to win.

Exactly, the players are really excited now and will try their hardest. Last year I think that we just expected to win the series after the first test victory and underestimated England. That won't happen again.

I find it too hard to predict the MOTS etc, but I reckon we will end up totally whitewashing them, and the series will be a big letdown (from a competitive point of view). Oz 4-0
Hope I'm wrong, tho!!!!

So, how did everybody go? The series was very one sided, but still enjoyable. Here's how I went.
Winner of Series: Australia - Well that wasn't too hard to predict!
Result: 3 - 2 - I thought too highly of England, 5-0 lol!
Player of Series: Warne - Wrong! Oh well Ponting had a very good series.
Australian player of Series: Warne - Wrong again, but he had a great series to finish his career.
English player of Series: Peiterson - He got the 2nd most runs of the series (490 at an average of 54.44) so I think I am right.
Most Wickets: Warne - Got the 2nd most wickets of the series behind Clark, so not too far off.
Most Runs: Hussey - Ponting got the most, but Hussey did have the highest average, I give myself 1/2 a mark :p
Best moment: Hussey making 200 not out - This didn't happen although the Huss still had an awesome series. My 2 favourite moments would be the win at Amazing Adelaide and Warne's 700th wicket
2 1/2 out of 8, not too good :o but it was still an awesome series

Australian player of Series: Pointing I'll give myself that
English player of Series: Flintoff Not even close
Most Wickets: Lee Dumb guess
Most Runs: Pointing Urh...I dunno? Maybe
Best moment: Cosgrove making a surprise appearance at Adelaide Oval, and knocking up 50
No Cosgrove either :(
Still a memorable Ashes.
