So tonight was be big night, I finally freakin graduated from College, regardless at the fact I have one more exam to complete (please don't ask me how or why, hehehee )

To be honest, I'm feeling very relieved right now. Maybe its the beers I've been drinking right now. I was a bit cut that the free beers tonight didn't cover Kilkenny, but besides that I was happy as heck.

At college, I was pretty well known around college as the bloked whom loved the Lions :D Hell, I was the last person to get the graduating certificate, and when I did I there were chants of GO LIONS! How touching :) I had a joke with some of my teachers that this would be the only time they'd see me wearing Collingwood colors

After a fantastic dinner with members of my family and two of my closest mates, going back 10 years, I'm now here on me bed, wearing me Lions training guernsey and me Lions boxer shorts (Sending repulsive images no doubt) reading a few books I got as pressies, and planning on what I can get with the $250 me Grandma gave me..... New alternate stripe, here I come

In short, it was a good day

Yes always a very stressful but then rewarding time of the year.

I had one of those exams everyone dreads last night - where you read the questions a few times during perusual, and then you have to look at the front of your paper just to see if you have been given the correct exam. Never a good start.

Congratulations on that, I finally graduate from High School next Friday after 13 years of schooling (did year 1 twice) at 18 years old and 3 months. So excited - next year I hopefully be doing a Bachelor of Business at University (if I get in) :D.

There we go, all edited!

Yeah, that was like me. When I moved to the Philippines, I was half way through Year 10 at the time, but I had to restart year 10 when I got there. When I came back, I was half way through year 11 there..... had to restart year 11 when I came home. :(

Indeed. My son finishes Year 12 soon and has decided that he has had enough of study and has taken up an apprenticeship. He plans to travel once he has finished the apprenticeship and has my total support. AR you are right that these are exciting times for young people.

Congrats everyone. Hope you get into things you want to do.

Everyone talking about graduating reminded me I am supposed to go to one some time this month. Better check when that is. Finished a course in the middle of the year and need to turn up and get my bit of paper and partake in the free drinks and nibbles.

I felt that way after finsihing my last ever high school exam (year 12 legal studies by memory). You feel so free. However, if someone had told me i would still be sitting exams 4 years later, i would have screamed.

Thanks for that Warwick!

My last exam this morning was for Hospitality Practices (cooking) 7:50 - 11am. I had to cook three meals on a culture of my choice, I chose Malay (Malaysia). I cooked:

Nasi Kemuli (Noya Wedding Rice) which is tasty rice blend with herbs
Ayam Limau Purut (Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry) to the Malaysian culture this curry is very popular as it contains aromatic fresh herbs and seasonings
Sevian (Malaysian Vermicelli Dessert) this dessert is unique to the Malay as it contains special spices and rosewater.I got a B- for it, not including my assignment therefore it isn't my final grade for this piece, mainly because I burnt the Cashew Nuts in the Sevian :o lol. I did my Maths and Multi Strand Science exams last week. My final assessment pieces for Health Education and English were assignments. Two weeks ago I did my last assessment for Business Communication and Technologies (Accounting exam) and I got an A+ for it, 35 out of 36, still happy about that. I'm also receiving a Certificate 2 in Business when I graduate.

Aww don't worry, you're in Uni at the moment, don't worry about the past when you got to think about the future ;) - I taught myself most of it mainly because I wasn't allowed to sit near my mates as I would talk to them too much haha.
