Not only does John Howard have bad advisers and senior public servants it seems now he has incompetent speech writers and researchers as well.
In his speech welcoming the queen to Australia he referred to her father as King George the 5th.
Sorry, Johnny but a royal arse kisser like you should know that her father was King George the 6th! :o
Who will cop the blame for the blunder this time, Johnny?

His adivsors obvioulsy were led to belive that her father was George V, and johnny had to go with what information he had at hand. Perhaps he should have double checked with Peter Reith. If Reith insisted it was Geo. V, you'd know it was wrong immediately!!
