Anyone else impressed with his outing on Xplosion the other night against Takahiro Oba? I know it was a delayed telecast by three or so months, I had previously been following him on the internet through clips and results over the past year but this was the first time I had the chance to see him on television.
I was very impressed, he is a warrior. Has his shoulder separated, instead of calling it quits when the doctor all but concedes it cannot be put back in, he has this corner force it, he continues to fight and wins by decision.
For those unfamiliar with Jaime Te Huna, he is a New Zealander that fights out of Sydney. He currently holds a 6-3-0 record in MMA competition. He’ll be fighting in the KOTC Australia card next month.

Yeah I saw that...very gutsy. Even if he lost he would have got my vote for that effort
I couldn't believe it when i saw it.. to continue under those circumstances against a good opponent and have to use the shoulder with such force for the rest of the fight was amazing.
Could have done long term damage and it looked a dodgy job popping it back in, didn't flinch though. Super effort.

Here is a 2006 highlight of Te Huna. I hope he moves on to bigger and better things.

I have some great news concerning TeHuna. Apparently he has signed with PRIDE and will fight at the next US show. His opponent is undetermined at the moment but I hope they don’t throw him to Arona, Nog or Nakamura.
Great news for Australian MMA and no doubt he will represent us well.
Awesome news OF1. I've taken your recommendation and looked him up. If there is one thing this kid has it's heart. Serious heart. And his ability aint too bad either. Hope to see him do well.
