The next Kennedy has started training with the Hawks.
This kid has leadership written all over him, I can just sense it, if he doesn't make it it won't be because he hasn't given it everything he has.

My blood tingled as I read the article.
Not putting pressure on him, but if trends are anything to go by Josh should be involved in 5 Hawthorn premiership sides ;)

Just heard Kevin Sheenhan speaking on Sen, 10.20am that Josh Kennedy is a steel for the Hawks, and would have expected him to be a second round pick if not F/S.
He likened him to Jobe Watson. An absolulte ball magnet. Another inside mid fielder with good skills.
I dare say we will see him play in 07. :D
Very happy if true - being a strong draft, a 2nd round pick could be the equivalent of a lower first round pick normally :thumbsu:

I am sure I read somewhere, that Josh has a younger brother.
In the same article it suggested that the younger brother may be the better of the two.
Can anyone confirm this?

He does. I believe 2008 draft.

Out of interest, where do people think Kennedy would have gone, had he not been picked under F/S? I'd say around 25, but interested to here what others think.

Many people say he could have gone late in the first round...if this is true in drafts prior to this he could have gone top 7
