It was confirmed that centrals met with the wrfl yesterday and it seems that everything iis ok. A copuple of issues were raised and they have decided for a new image to attract players to the club. If anyone intersted in playing for centrals just leave your name. We have some dough to waste so if you are good enough you will get paid. The tigers will be roaring in 07.

Centrals didn't make too many friends last year with fellow Clubs, Umpires and the League Executive.
Bottom line is Centrals will need be voted " back in" at the League AGM meeting next Monday - initial thoughts is it won't happen.

I watched a Central Altona player kick and hit an umpire a few seasons back and it was one the more gutless and disturbing things I have witnessed in football. On that cowardly act alone Centrals should never see the light of day again.

If the club had enough balls they would stand up to the group of players that are dictating the way the club is going to be run and p1ss them off. One player this year received weeks and the club aggreed with the league that they would kick that said player out and he would not play again. What happens, the player comes back from suspension and he says that he is going to play and the club was not going to do anything about it, this is why the club was ceased during the year as the league stated that after this incident the club had gone back on its word.
But it was the actions of one player that has caused this. So YES, one players actions should and have determined whether a club is reinstated or not.
And at this stage they should just shut up shop for good.

It's probably the same rent-a-team that started at Nth Melb & Ken, who were kicked out. They then would have gone to Newport, kicked out again, so then it's onto Centrals.
