I've altered the thread title for accuracy's sake... Colbert's role isn't in coaching, but in a Melbourne-based roled of some kind.

from what i understand, he will be more of eastern states based informer for the club - basically giving woosha info on opponents, kind of like his eyes and ears on the eastern seabord

i would have liked to have seen him in more of a specialist or development role where his experience and character would be more of an influence - maybe this is leigh's foot in the door perhaps?

either way - i admired him as a player so welcome aboard!
