South Africa vs Australia at Cape Town
2nd test: starts Friday 7:30pm

The big news in the lead up to this match is that Daryl Cullinan, (Warne's bunny) has been brought back along with Shaun Pollock for the injured Donald. South Africa have made 4 changes, while the Aussies I would expect would field the same team that thrashed the Proteas in the 1st test.

It should be very interesting and I'm looking forward to Warne's battle with Cullinan.

Any thoughts??

Well, Shaun Pollock and Daryl Cullinan have pulled out of the South African team for the 2nd test overnight. Pollock is still being troubled by his side muscle injury and Cullinan has pulled out due to a contract dispute.

I wonder if part of that contract dispute was regarding a clause that could have been in Daryl's contract preventing him from doing anything that might stop him playing to his best for his country. Maybe Daryl thought turning up and facing Shane Warne would stop him from playing to his best, so he pulled out!! :D:D:D

Seriously though, it was probably something to do with the length of his contract.

This South African attack is one of the worst attacks i have ever seen.

Look at their team when you take Donald and Pollock out of it, its a pop-gun attack at best.

Makahya Ntini is their best bowler and is quite good, but would only just get into ur second XI team.
Paul Adams has a decent record, but wouldn't match up to any of the spinners we have in Australia.
Dewald Pretoruis - young quick bowler with a good first class record, but looking at the current standard of South African cricket (how the hell are these guys the second best team in the world, and only a couple of points behind us on the ICC table) who knows what were up against.
Jaques Kallis is allright, but is a support medium pacer, not the main pace bowler after the openers.
Andrew Hall is just a partime medium pacer.

Very ordinary indeed - will be lucky to see the Australian tail at all during this test match.

NEVER under-estimate the opponent, but having said that, if we play to our best, we should win.

Hope these 2 boys have a great milestone game. Warnie will become the 7th Aussie to play 100 test matches.
