tool have anounced a tour of aus and will play:

22 APRIL AUSTRALIA Brisbane Entertainment Centre
24 APRIL AUSTRALIA Sydney Entertainment Centre
27 APRIL AUSTRALIA Melbourne Rod Laver Arena
02 MAY AUSTRALIA Adelaide Entertainment Centre
04 MAY AUSTRALIA Perth Entertainment Centre

Wont be going personally but they are a great act so see them if you can. Tickets go on slae March 15 i think.

Missed them last time, so I damn well have to see them this time.

One of the best technical bands on earth, and I look forward to see Maynard and the boys at Rod Laver. :)

I actually don't think that TOOL are that technical. They just tend to put a lot of changes and twists into their songs.

A band called the Melvins are supporting. There from the US so ur looking at prob 80-90 bucks a ticket.

Technical? Danny Carey is a f*cken gun!!!

I reckon it is the ability of this band to weld a highly complex rhythm seemlessly from one section to the next, while maintaining cool simple and catchy melodies and riffs over the top, that make 'em somethin' special.

I'm most likely going to see this mob I was overseas last time & missed a goodun. I think it was $90 last time so it may be a little dearer this time, we'll see.
