Bill Curtis, who played 2 games for Fitzroy in 1925, had a much more famous grandson, who also represented the Roys in the 1980's & '90's. Who is the grandson?

Trent Cummings?

Sorry, I was flicking through an old record last night and stumbled across this bloke's name. If ever there was a porn star name at Fitzroy, this has go to be the one!

Cheers,
FitzroyRamone

I thought I also read/heard once, that Trent Cummings was related to Joe Johnson, the first Aboriginal player to play at league level (who played for Fitzroy, early last century).

Can anyone confirm this?

I can confirm that Trent Cummings is the Great Grandson of Joe Johnson, but none of the players yet mentioned are Grandsons of Bill Curtis.

The player I'm looking for also played for another AFL club.

He certainly is. I'm sure old Bill would have been extremely proud, if he got to see the way Paul Roos carried on his family's tradition with the Roys.
