pick the thing about the club and/or players that you didnt realise and only recently found out...
I didnt realise that a good family friend of mine, who used to play for Fitzroy back in the 70's actually played 7 games for the blues and kicked 6 goals...

I used to live across the road from them and I used to play kick to kick with his little brother Lorenzo.
From what I have heard, both Lorri and Renato were huge Carlton fans when they were kids, but ended up playing for Fitzroy because of where we lived in West Preston.
As another aside, Serge Silvagni has the 4square supermarket on the corner of Bell St and Gilbert Rd... just around the corner from where we lived.
