G'day guys (& girls),

I've decided to start a new Fantasy Football side in the FFL.

And with any new side, I need players - preferably Hawthorn supporting ones!!!

I'm hoping to make the team a lot of fun, with a Dream Team League, match reports, pick your own coach - basically make it more exciting.

The Fantasy Football League is made up of teams of Big Footy posters. There are about 13 clubs at the moment and anyone can join (as long as they aren't banned)

Each round sides play each other in a match, just like real footy - only this match is a randomised computer program that 'plays' the game. Your player 'participates' getting kicks, handpasses and goals and this is shown on screen as this:
1 : 3.06 - CLUCAS91 GETS THE BALL DOWN.
1 : 3.19 - HAWKK HAS POSSESSION.
1 : 3.26 - HIS KICK IS HURRIED - IN THE DIRECTION OF WCE_ALL_THE_WAY.
1 : 3.33 - HILLY INTERCEPTS THE KICK AND MARKS.
1 : 3.39 - HILLY HAS POSSESSION.
1 : 3.52 - HE GETS A HANDPASS TO ESSENDONPRIDE.
1 : 3.59 - HIS KICK IS TOWARDS BORNTIGERFAN.
1 : 3.65 - BORNTIGERFAN CAN'T TAKE IT.
1 : 3.72 - BORNTIGERFAN HAS POSSESSION.
1 : 3.78 - A WOBBLY OLD KICK.
1 : 3.85 - NO-ONE CAN TAKE THE MARK.
1 : 3.91 - TOBIE1995 IS NOW OFF AND RUNNING.
1 : 4.04 - A WOBBLY OLD KICK.
1 : 4.11 - NO-ONE CAN TAKE THE MARK.
1 : 4.17 - BP IS NOW OFF AND RUNNING.
1 : 4.3 - KEGS44 DIDN'T MAKE AN EFFORT AND IS PENALISED.
1 : 4.36 - WITH THE BALL IS BORNTIGERFAN.
1 : 4.43 - SKIPPER KELLY'S TAKEN ANOTHER BOUNCE.
1 : 4.5 - HE TAKES ANOTHER.
1 : 4.56 - IF THAT'S A GOAL I'LL NEVER BREAK WIND AGAIN.
1 : 4.63 - PUNCHED THROUGH FOR A POINT.
EAST-SIDE HAWKS : 1.0.6
LAS VEGAS BEARS : 1.1.7

At the end of the game you have your own stats and depending how ggod you were, your side wins or loses.

It is all completely random - each match is a 50/50. But just like the Hawks, you support your side and get involved. And given your name is running around, it's a bit of fun. :)

At the end of the year, the top 8 play off in the finals untill we have a winner.

There is no skill involved so it's more just about having fun and supporting your side.

Probably not until around February, it depends on who ends up running the season. Deestroy, the guy who ran it this year, is not doing it anymore.

I still need another 3 or 4 players before the season starts.....

I'm still on the lookout for 3 or 4 more (hopefully Hawthorn supporting) recruits so sign up if you want to have a bit of fun over the winter months with the Fantasy Footy League.
