I think if we talk present day legends, you cant go past Gary Ablett for his amazing performances on the footy field.
If you're talking past greats, Geelong has been lucky to have players like Charles Brownlow, (Brownlow Stand and Brownlow Medal named after him) Reg Hickey, Graham "Polly" Farmer (player who changed the game with his use of handball in the 1960's) Doug Wade and Bob Davis.

Ablett easily. If you asked someone what comes to mind when you mention Geelong Football Club, one of their replies would no doubt be Gary Ablett.

I actually voted for Hickey, he was a captain and a coach and he was involved in Premierships. Gazza is a very close second, it was a magical period when he was up forward.
