Concert: I think it was "Back in Black with AC DC at the Sydney Myer Music Bowl where the big bell came down from the roof to be gonged to start the concert. Certainly the first big concert I remember.

Album: I have about 300 of the old vinyls and I think it would have been a "K-tel (theres a real blast from the past) compliation album with LA International Airport which for some reason was the big discussion song at school that year. (im talking primary school here!)

The first albums I bought were with the money I earned from my work experience. I went straight to 'Brashs' (yep, showing MY age too!) and bought Dio's 'Sacred Heart' album, and Rush's 'Power Windows'. Both were life changing.

As was the 1st concert: again, it was DIO, Festival Hall, 1986. My impressionable 15 year old mind was blown for ever.....

Ok, I'll bite.

First Album: "Arrival" - Abba.

First Concert: Jackson 5 at Festival Hall in 1972/73. I was 5/6 years old, and I don't remember it that well! I do remember we were sitting in the balcony, front row. I remember seeing 5 Jacksons onstage.

I remember the support band was "Mississippi" (forerunner of LRB).

Other than that, the next concert I attended (that I can remember) would probably have been Mushroom Evolution at the Myer Music Bowl in the early 1980's. I know I was in my early teens, and was only allowed to attend the concert during the day. Must admit I missed some good acts by not being permitted to attend the night sessions! :thumbsd:

Album: AC/DC: TNT, none of this fandangled CD stuff, vinyl all the way :p

Concert: AC/DC 1988 at the tennis centre, first event ever held at the venue, man was my neck sore after that night.
I now wear my mullet on the inside. :o
