Sunday Feb 4th @ 2pm, or 6.30pm replay.
"LIVE from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Ultimate Fighting Championship is back on Main Event for UFC 67!!"
Good news, I missed UFC 66 unfortunately, but i won't be missing this one. Just have to hook up a DVD recorder to my mother-in-law's Optus box and tape the 2pm show so i can take it home and watch it with the boys at my place that evening with a few brews in hand, yelling at the plasma redneck style. Apparently this one is shot in HDTV too, no more shrunken pictures (about time dana), bonus.
Despite the sh#t talk on sherdog about this being a one-sided card, i am pumped for CC & rampage's debuts. And i think Lutter is a decent shot against Silva too.

I don't know, his fight against Rich Franklin was fairly action packed.
I'm so ****** glad that UFC events are now live here you wouldn't believe. No more waiting for the dvd to come out after you've read about the results on sherdog or mmaweekly or ufc.com 6 months earlier.
Now we just need the ufc fight nights and all the pride ppv's to go live and we're set.

I think you've confused Anderson Silva with Tim Sylvia. The Spider has knocked out Chris Leben and Rich Franklin in his 2 UFC fights, and you can add Travis Lutter to that list in a few days.
It's not the best card they've put on recently, but it doesnt matter. Seeing CroCop and Rampage in the octagon is going to be great! It's only a matter of time now before Chuck and Rampage have a rematch and CroCop is wearing the UFC heavyweight title.

Travis Lutter failed to make weight in his final attempt so the UFC 67 main event against Anderson Silva has been changed to a three-round non-title fight.
Lutter came on the scale in his final attempt at 186.5 pounds. He needed to make 185 for it to be a title match.
The other weight issue, with Terry Martin vs. Jorge Rivera, is fine. Martin weighed 186 a few minutes ago in his second attempt to make weight. In a non-title match was okay because of the one pound allowance.

its finally here and ive decided i have to get it
i can download if i want but that live feeling is just so much better and i remember when wwe ppv's were worth getting it is much better to watch than on your pc a few days later

Yeah 68 looks great, 1 month away! Its going to be interesting between Couture and the big guy, i forgot his name.

I was not that impressed by the card. 68 should be good!

Pound for Pound, i think they are alot closer than everyone gives them credit for.

Rampage was nervous as he admitted. And he just didn't look as composed as usual, I guess he did say that he was needing practice and more sparring.
That knee-bar was nasty! I also cant believe he didn't tap. It got him the victory, but I'd say he'll be out of training for a decent while recovering.
I think Chuck is a great fighter dont get me wrong, but I reckon Mirko could drop to 205 and still be as devestating. And I think Mirko is a better fighter than Liddell. It would be sensational if they ever did fight :) As you said, highly unlikely, but you never know.
When I meant insulting, I just think Dana was trumping up Liddell to boost the UFC's image when comparing him to Cro Cop, that's all.
Cant wait to see Mirko have someone decent to fight in the UFC. Should be great.

Of course there is. Espicially if Randy takes the title. UFC brought Mirko into to be the HW champ so he'll have to fight Randy, however i'd hate to see Mirko V Randy because i love Randy so much.
It was hard enough watching Chuck defeat him, let alone the power or power of Mirko. Scary!

That Mirko he will be a force in the UFC. He looked so clam yesterday and was always in control. I wouldnt be surprised by yesterday if he went on to be the most dominent force in UFC, mind you he didnt have much opposition.

There is no doubt that he will be a massive force. He is a cool, calm and calculated killer that stalks his opposition.
He is no BS and that is what i love about him. He gets in the ring/cage, bashes someone and leaves!

Yeah that pride music thing was wierd, first thing i thought was hey is this legal? then i thought the ufc must've gone ahead and purchased pride. then i thought nah, the music mustn't be pride's to restrict ufc using it and if that's the case then dana's just flipping the bird at pride by using their stuff.

Personally i don't know if it's me overrating Sylvia or underating Mirko, but i wasn't really all that impressed with crocop last week, in fact it reminded me of some of those early tyson bouts where he was knocking dudes down by grazing them. To me sanchez looked scared in the fight and went down easier than he should have. That high kick did stuff all it hardly connected.
Sylvia is a lot bigger and better than Sanchez and will give Crocop nightmares with his reach, in my opinion.
Who knows i might be totally wrong and Randy could be the champ soon.
I just think it's cool to hate on Timmy and people just think he's boring so he's sh#t, but i think he will be proving his detractors wrong soon enough, as soon as he fights crocop. I might be tempted to have a wager on him that night if the odds get ridiculous.
I predict Mirko to chop the piss out of Sylvia's legs and then finish with a left high kick towards the end of the first round. Sylvia's good, but he hasn't faced an opponent nearly as powerful or skilled as Cro Cop.

That is exactly how i expect it to go. What is his defense going to be against the power kicks? He wont attempt to take it to the ground, Cro-Cop grounds skills are far greater. I seriosuly can't think of how Sylvia will win unless he lands a lucky huge right. Highly doubt it though.
I can't wait for the big dopey moron to have the belt taken away from him. It would look so good around Mirko.

I would say he'd soften him up with his presicion hands until sylivia over comits to protecting his head and he'd hit him with a liver kick that either ends him, or keeps his hands down to open him up for the skull compactor.
