Disgraceful behaviour by Medhurst. Despite getting rid of Tarrant the Magpies obviously are going to have to work hard to prevent their players from engaging in anti-social and illegal activities.
from abc.net.au
Magpie Medhurst fined for traffic offences
Collingwood recruit Paul Medhurst has been fined $450 for traffic offences.
Medhurst pleaded guilty to three charges after he was seen by police not stopping at a stop sign, failing to indicate and turning right at a left-turn only sign.
The offences happened in Subiaco in August last year, when Medhurst was still listed with the Fremantle Dockers.
He has since transferred to Collingwood.
Medhurst did not appear in court this morning and the matter was dealt with by his lawyer.
Medhurst was also ordered to pay more than $100 in court costs

I noticed that, and left this thread alone, though reading the title at first had me worried..

I'd like to hear your thoughts on Cousins, Gardiner, Kerr, Lynch and Sampi as well :) If this is "disgraceful" behaviour by Medhurst, then how would you describe some of the behaviour shown by the WCE players I've mentioned?

This is getting ridiculous. How is a traffic infringement news?
Nothing to see here, move along...

We got him to have his tonsils taken out and has only resumed training this week.
Trained with the main group for the first time yesterday.
You'd have thought a chronic tonsilitis problem would have lead to the Freo medicos (see picture for reference) taking a similar action, but apparently not.

If he can actually get a game, then maybe I will work out what it is you are talking about.

When, for the 57th time, he gets in the road of a Rocca lead, I am sure you will have worked it out!!:D

Bloody Medhurst - always knew he'd be trouble one day. It's bloody lucky he didn't kill someone. Thank the good lord above he was off our list before his court date, and that he's now someone else's problem. :thumbsu:

My tongue was pretty firmly in my cheek, as most other posters have worked out. You were probably distracted because your tongue was in your mate's cheek.

Oh FFS. Minor misdemeanour committed when he was travelling about 15km/h.
Quick delist him now, before he drags your entire club into disrepute. ;)

Hey Purpes.....if there was an emote for sarcasm I would have needed it for every single word.....
So let me be clear.....I agree with you it is only a minor offence and nothing to really comment on....FFS lighten up a bit. ;)

Maybe he was trying to get traded to the Eagles, they seem to be well versed at this behavour, he probably thought it would look good on his CV to them.

In his defence he did have trouble reaching the brake pedal.
