First of all, full credit to Queensland for making the Pura Cup final and winning the right to host it. They have played some good cricket throughout the season and deserve to start as favourites for the final. :)

However, the thing that concerns me from an overall Australian cricket position is this... "is it good for the game as a fair contest to juice up the wicket so basically whoever wins the toss bowls first and has a 99% chance of winning the game outright??"

I have a real issue with this. I think there should be some guidelines that the ground curators should have to follow with regards to the quality of pitch they prepare for such games.

What does everyone think??

Cheers!! :)

Queensland only need a draw for the final. No way will there be a greentop next weekend.

Plus it is a 5 day game and a bowlers paradise would probably be more favourable for tassie.

Bomber Spirit,

This is my point... there shouldn't be a "green top" any weekend, unless the weather prior to the match has been so bad that the groundmen were not able to put the normal preparation into the wicket.

Cheers!! :)
