For those of you who havn't yet seen it.
Essendon skipper Matthew Lloyd is hopeful of playing in Friday night's clash against the Indigenous All Stars despite battling a corked thigh.
Lloyd sustained the injury last Saturday during an intra-club match at MC Labour Park, but is eager to return to the field after a debilitating hamstring injury ruined his 2006 season.
"I'm hoping to (play)," Lloyd said on Thursday.
"I've got no doubt in a home-and-away game I'd be playing.
"I've never missed with a corked thigh before, but we'll work it out with 'Sheeds' and the medicos."
Lloyd has not played since round three last year when he tore his hamstring from the bone during the Bombers' match against the Western Bulldogs at Telstra
