Hey guys I was just thinking about st kilda's lineup vs. Carlton was and what our best midfield lineup could be full stop.. I think that some guys let our midfield down in disposal.. we can get the ball.. that's never been our problem as such.. (oh well it has) BUT I think there are some guys like Thompson (terrific work rate and in and under work) who haven't got the best disposal (even Harvey)...

Who do you think could play midfield who has the best kick and disposal?

I was thinking

Aussie
Black
Harves (cause you couldn't have hin out)

Potential midfield players with good skills:

Hayes
Wulf

Forgetting blokes that you already mentioned & blokes that would have to develop that have good skills (Dal Santo, Luke Ball, Montagna for example).

Wednesday 13th March - Thommo's Diary

After the weights session the players have a quick touch and goal kicking session out on the ground. This is informal and is usually done in pairs. Part of the session involves a goal kicking competition. Six numbered spots are marked out on the ground and after starting from position one you move around the spots only progressing if you kick the goal. As soon as you miss you are out, you write your score down, the totals are kept and winner announced at the end of the year. The first three spots are reasonably easy, however there were still players such as Milney with a total score of zero. The next three spots are considerably harder with the last spot being from outside fifty and usually into the wind. Justin Peckett is leading the competition after kicking an outstanding 16 in a row. Nick Riewoldt was next best with 12. I was reasonably ordinary managing four.

Add Peckett to that list... maybe with a change of role up forward?
