This thread is to discuss Simon Wiggins.

It will be used throughout the season for everyone, and will be the home for his buddy poster.

Simon Wiggins came in for his first preseason game in the cut and thrust of the NAB cup GF, with very limited ground time he looked prety rusty and not quite up to the pace of the game .
He made a couple of mistakes but in true Wiggo fashion he kept at it and attempted to get involved in the contest .
not much to add but that he will be better for the run.

I wouldn't have him selected in the team for round one at this stage.

Was very very quiet last night, hardly noticed him.

Would be on the cusp of the 22 come round 1 though.

Set up one of Fishers goals with a great pass .

I was being facetious. ;)

Stats are meaningless when you're talking about someone as good as Wiggins.

Once again Wiggo comes out and plays a great game to prove a few people wrong :D

His marking and attack on the ball was just what the doctor ordered ..while he is throwing himsef into packs with careless abandon his younger team mates walk a little taller .
Well done Wiggo :thumbsu:

Career best night for Wiggo.
Was a great target all night, spilled it a couple of times, but generally mopped up his own errors.

Will never be a great player, but I bet you his team mates would just about have him first picked each week.
Doesn't mind doing the hard work, hitting packs, tackling, shephearding..............keep it up Wiggo.:thumbsu:

So why didn't you get drafted?

Wiggins has been training to be an umpire after his AFL career. Would like to see him get to 100 games first, but unless he gets a run this week its doubtful.

Come on, its not like we have anything to lose!

Casper Wiggins, are you really his Wife? I think she would have better things to do with her time... seriously.

He didn't play too bad last night. Deserves another crack next week.

Another good game this week. Took a solid hit to the head but came back strongly. Is becoming a reliable mark-kick-goal player at half-forward.

You gotta love Wiggles and his 100% effort week in, week out :thumbsu:

Got crunched a couple of times but showed his heart by getting straight up again and slotting through a great goal.

He has found his spot on the half forward flank as a tough marking target and deserves to stay in the side, and on the list.

i love carlton
