This thread is to discuss Anthony Raso.

It will be used throughout the season for everyone, and will be the home for his buddy poster.

Has he got a broken wrist?

Will be suprised if he lasts the cut at the end of the year.

Needs to show us what he has got.

If Raso can stay injury free, what can we expect from him in 07??? Any chance of seeing him in the seniors?

Doubtful, but there may be a slight chance towards the end of the year.

I want him to cement his spot in the Bullants senior team this season and become an important player for them.

Senior selection in 2008. I would be very surprised if he is cut from the list at the end of the season. Unless we cut him and put him on the rookie list.

We will need to make room for some fresh talent for 2008. Atleast 4 from the NAB Draft, plus a likely Rookie Elevation Aisake/Jackson. Where will we find the room?
Teague and Bannister are goners, wouldn't Saddington and Raso likely be next in line for the chop?
Is he suffering from weight issues?!?! i.e. a light frame....

Lappin may retire
Kouta may retire

He was drafted as a project player and didn't even train in his first season. 2006 was his first real season at the club I think? Certainly wouldn't think he'd get the cut, unless of course he shows nothing this season.

I concur. He really needs to show us something this year.

I hope we can get a game out of him this year because someone with his skill and height would be a nice bonus if they make. But I also think he will get cut to make way for another batch of kids if he doesn't play a handful of games.

Is he still a stick insect?

Lol @ stick insect. Well, I saw him in the rooms after the Richmond game and he still looks pretty slightly built for his height. Would be very interested to know how much (if any) weight he's put on in his time at the club.

No chance of getting a game?
Disappointing, would've thought 3rd year in the system. He looks tall and skillful, are we just worried about his phyisicality?

Think Raso would just bout have to be the seventh. Was taken as a project player but still is yet to be a regular bullant! take out those few and put in another group of young kids plus maybe an out of contract established senior player! good days ahead

How do you get into the Carlton rooms after the game.

Would a social club member be let in.

Looked OK for the Bullants this week. Started off quietly but worked himself into the game well.

Has pretty good height for a player of his type, has OK speed, and has VERY good disposal. Was great to see him playing in the middle of the ground and running forward. Really needs to put on some weight, though.

Needs to continue playing well for the Bullants and he will get an opportunity. If he stays away from injuries he will be fine, and if he hadn't been plagued by injuries we may have already seen him.

Looks like he can take over Lappin's role at the end of the year. May get a few games this year, but I think that next year we will see him feature reasonably regularly, especially considering Lappin may not be there next year.
