Tredders did two interviews last night - one on AA one on the telecast at half time, and he was very confidently predicting he would be ready for round 1, and may even play in a pre-season game.
If he's right it is of course great news, but it does give Choco an out to dither around with the Motlop/Ebert/Mahoney forward line instead of dropping a mix of Willits, Cockshell and/or Westhoff in there for the pre season games to give us some big targets to aim for, so our inside 50s are more long and direct and result in one out contests.
And after all, he did claim this week he was planning for life without Warren.

If Warren is ready to play prior to Round 1, I'd prefer he did it in a SANFL trial match with the Port Magpies. Just to get the match fitness.

I am sure if he was right to go the magpies would be the option as you would think his game time would be short

He probably saw how ******** our tall forwards were and is trying to accelerate his schedule.

I really hope that is not the case. Our forward line may be pretty crappy without him, but I'd rather him stay out and getting that knee 110% rather than come back early and possibly do more harm than good.
Haha, jesus.

Hopefully the coaching staff and the medical staff if they are smart enough.

I would'nt worry to much Troy, Warren always overstates how well he is doing when injured. He is probably to confident for his own good.
There is no way the club will risk him IMO

When Warren comes back, hopefully in round 1, will he say "Andrew Jarman, you were wrong"?. Jars has been (gleefully) predicting that Wazza won't be back until mid-season at the earliest.
Sorry, but the Allan Scott thread made me do it! :)

why would you be hop[eful for a rushed return? especially to a ground notorious for taking casualties via knees. i would hope to see him by round 3, at least we can be sure he is ready, and we wont lose him to another inury, i think we need to look long term success here not short term success.
