I was wondering whether anyone knows which footy team Aussie musicians barrack for:
I've heard that Tim Rogers from You Am I is a Kangaroos fan
and I think that Paul Kelly (the musician) is a Roos fan too
Pretty sure that the guys from The Screaming Jets are Newcastle Knights fans as well as the guys from silverchair all being Novocastrians
does anyone know any other Aussie musicians football allegiances?

Bill and Robbie from the Cosmic Psychos are Essendon supporters. Ross follows Richmond
Mick Thomas follows St. Kilda as do the majority of the members of TISM.
Freddie Negro from the **** ****S follows Collingwood.
Melbourne musicians tend to be fairly keen on their footy.

I believe PK is now a Crows man having formerly followed Melbourne.
Saw Red Symons mosey his way through the crowd at the Lions family day on Sunday. Think he was only there to buy a gourmet sausage, though. :o

He is not what I would call a muso, but Chris Franklin is a North man. Just about sums up our demographic.

Just got home from the Lucksmiths/Go-Betweens gig and I've just remembered that Mark Mannone and Marty Donald from the Lucksmiths are both St. Kilda fans whilst Tali White follows the Crows.

Mick Thomas from Weddings Parties Anything is the only person I have heard drop so many references about footy into his lyrics.
Back to the thread topic... The ugliest musician of all time was from a band that WPA supported on their Australian Tour in the late 80's.
Shane McGowan of The Pogues... there could be no other.
Kylie Minogue is a Hawthorn fan. :D

Alright I'll plug my own band, the Naked Eye here. We have a song called In the Early Hours, written by our guitarist Scott (a Richmond fan). One of the lines is:
"I saw you out last night,
And doesn't God where blue and white."
A reference to Gary Ablett.
I am probably the only guy in the world that has a Mark Graham sticker on his Marshall amp. (Although it recently fell off, I wonder if that is a sign of some kind?)
