Does anyone know where the hell this guy has been over the pre - season? I havent heard anything about him at all. Does anyone know if he is over his foot injury? Will he play for Werribee this week?

I'm not trying to be a smart a$$ here, but if you go back through the threads pertaining to training you'll find that there's heaps about Toms progress over the pre season.

AKA Tom is running again now, and he'll hopefully be able to play some football at some stage this year.

Eade indicated last week that he should be ready to go R1 with Werribe reserves.

That's great news, let's pray for an injury free first run for him.

if your at training you'll see him usually running laps around the ground.
he may of even progressed to some sprint work by now.
much better than previously where he would pop his head out of the dugout to say hello or he'd be sitting on the hand bike thingy on the bench.

hurt his knee again a few weeks back.
don't think he did any real damage to it, just a twinge i believe. If he does it again that would be his career i would say.

Thanks. Hope he's right by Round 1 - needs to really show something this season.

Wonder when they'll give him a footy to train with? Has he baulked up?

My opinion of M West is that he's useless...he can't run and isn't a very good kick, I was hoping that we'd get rid of him, and keep Morgan or McGuinness. Buuut, he's a long term project, and Eade has faith in him, so I guess that's good enough for me.
As for Williams, he was a risky option when we picked him up, hopefully that will start paying off for us this year- I think I heard that Eade said he'd have a much bigger impact in '08, rather than this year, and to not expect too much of him.
