That was a great fight and how the judges got that so wrong is beyond me. Now ill admit I am no Mundine fan, and its not for race issues despite what one bellend says, but he is a good (although overrated) boxer and probably deserved that on a split decision but how on earth did he get the cards so easily ?? Soliman is well past his best but the man can still box and he was brilliant tonight, they have every reason to be annoyed. And watch Mundine carry on and on and on and on about it.
Just proves that everytime he fights a half decent boxer he struggles. If youre a real World Champ Choc, step up mate.

Just came back from the pub after watching the fight on Main Event. I thought is might have been a little closer but Mundine definately deserved the win. Soliman landed more punches but half of them my grandma could have taken. Even though Mundine threw a lot less punches, he landed the cleaner and more deadly punches, definately deserved the win.
I don't think Soliman could have done much more than he did, it was a brave effort and the way he fought in the first three rounds was very very smart. Seem to loose his way and kind of tired during the middle stages, kept standing toe-to-toe with Mundine when he should have kept moving and kept 'the Man' off balance. He's has got some much heart that that showed near the end but Mundine was just too good on the night.
Mundine was not great, but that's what Soliman does, bring his opponents down in class because of his weird style but a win is a win. Pretty decent fight overall but if Mundine takes on the Pavliks and Calzaghies of the world, he needs to step up because on this performance tonight, i dont think he would stand a chance.
Got to say though, Soliman and especailly his trainer are bloody sore loosers. My god, my respect in 'the King' has dropped after his post match interview, shocking effort. A bigger man would leave his frustration for the locker rooms. Even if Mundine was carrying on to much, which he should, he did win, no excuse for the way Soliman and his idiot trainer acted. Poor Form :thumbsd:.

Solimon always whinges about decisions, but just because you are awkward, does mean you are landing enough to win rounds.
16-12 or 15-13 fine with me.
Mundine won. Anyone who thinks different just ain't watching properly. The Judges got it spot on.
