When I read the thread title I thought this must surely be a joke.

Hahahaha. My old flat mate (He's 22) loves this film and I have worked it into my Raw Comedy routine. I can't believe it has other fans over the age of 8.

I'm still firmly of the opinion that 'Dunston Checks In' is a comedic masterpiece.
Anyone agree?

Agreed. I had it on tape for years actually. :p
Saw it again the other day on Foxtel and it still just as good.
Got to love the intro music. ;)

I saw another monkey film while at some hotel somewhere (I can't remember which country), it was about a boy who went to Africa with Dom Delouise and met Jimmy Walker (DYN-O-MITE!) and found a talking monkey that an evil general and a circus owner wanted to get their hands on.
It was quite possibly the worst thing I have ever slumped in front of for an extended period of time. Yes, that's right I watched most of it.
Incidentally, this channel was showing a bunch of monkey films into the lead up to premiering the 2005 King Kong later in the week. A task that would involve also airing monkey staples such as the one where Matt LeBlanc plays second banana to a monkey, 'Buddy' and 'Mighty Joe Young'. I didn't see them all.
