I have just borrowed a CD from a friend by The Four Horsemen called “Nobody Said That It Was Easy”. One of the guys sounds like the lead singer from Dangerous Toys – Jason McMaster (?). Does anyone know if this is the same guy? I had heard one of the tunes before. MMM used to play a part of “Rockin’ Is Ma’ Business” but I didn’t know who song that song. What an awesome album if you like hard rockin’ guitar. I would also recommend a listed to the first Dangerous Toys CD if you can get you hands on it.

Jason McMaster has been in a million bands so you could be correct. Regarding "Nobdy Said That it Was Easy" it sorta rings a bell but I couldn't tell you why.
I've heard their stuff. A bit like The Cult - but didn't they have a former Cult member and I think Rick Rubin produced their albums?
I don't know about the link with Dangerous Toys, I only ever saw one clip for a song Scared and I can't reconcile them as looking alike. Dangerous Toys were very LA-sleeze, weren't they?

Well Jason McMaster sang for Dangerous Toys that's the link if he is also in the Four Horsemen.
Dangerous Toys are from Texas. The song Scared you referred to is on the Soundtrack to the movie Shocker.

Nah the song "Demon Bell" was on the Shocker soundtrack.
Scared was the 1st single from their album.

OK, I've done some investigating.
Four Horseman Vocalists:
1987- 1995 Frank C. Starr, deceased 1999 (Formally of the band SIN)
1995 - Ron Young (Little Caesar)
And this is Jason McMaster

Still alive and kicking. I think I remember him or one of the other guys wearing an AC/DC t-shirt in the Scared clip. Apparently Jason is behind the Snowblind rendition on the Ace Frehley tribute album Spacewalk. Cool. :)

A classic CD.......remember reading a review of it and next trip to the music store listened to the first 3 tracks and it was mine.
Unfortunately they suffered a lot of misfortune throughout there times.......no link to Dangerous Toys though.....
Another product from Rik Ruben's Def American label here's some more info on them.........
Albums:
1989 Four Horsemen
1991 Nobody Said It Was Easy
1996 Gettin' Pretty Good At Barely Gettin' By
History
70s style hard rock swagger with a very bad attitude. Songs about alcohol, sex and more alcohol were their trademark. Suffered more setbacks and tradegies then any band deserves.
Formed in Hollywood, California by Frank C. Starr (vocals), Dave Lizmi (guitar), Haggis (guitar, former bassist of The Cult and Zodiac Mindwarp when he went by the name of Kid Chaos), Ben Pape (bass) and Ken 'Dimwit' Montgomery (drums). 1991s full-length debut was a hard rock masterpiece, but business problems and internal fighting killed any potential they had and Starr walked away.
The first tradegy would occur when Dimwit passed away from a drug overdose on September 27, 1994 after the band had reformed. Starr and Lizmi decided to dedicate to the album to their deceased friend and were joined by Pharoah (bass) and Chuck Biscuits (drums, of Danzig). But Biscuits was soon replaced by Randy Cooke. However, before mastering of the album was complete the band would be dealt another blow. In November of 1995 a drunk driver would hit Frank C. Starr while driving his motorcycle down Sunset Strip. He was sent flying suffering massive head trauma and placed in a coma. While waiting for Starr's recovery, the rest of the band would tour for the album with Ron Young of Little Caesar on vocals. A demo was made with Young on vocals, but nothing ever materialized.
Unfortunately Starr would never come around, and finally passed away on June 18, 1999. A very sad conclusion to an extremely talented and promising band. Two albums and an EP of kick-ass rock'n'roll is the legacy left behind from one of the hard rock worlds unsung heroes. Cooke is currently in Blood Red Flower.

Thanks for all the info guys.
Correct about Snowblind on the Ace tribute CD- Jason McMaster did a RIPPER version of it, he's a huge Kiss fan & plays in a kiss cover band called SSIK!

i'm pretty sure he was the first vocalist for Watchtower (before they completely spazzed on the techy thing).
First Dangerous toys album was pretty good (for that GNR type stuff) if I remember rightly - lost interest after that though.
